Brian Hoyt, the former CIO of Unity Technologies, is Parkway VC’s COO.
Brian is fortunate to be among the youngest CIOs in Silicon Valley.
During his extensive career, Brian has made an indelible mark on the technology world with the companies he has backed.
As the CIO of Unity Technologies, Brian was instrumental in taking the world’s most popular gaming engine, used by the majority of game developers, and flexing it to the needs of the enterprise market.
Today, Unity is the top business platform for next-gen digital applications and enterprise experiences, leveraging 25+ novel technologies, such as augmented and virtual reality; powering 3D simulations, digital twins, and now - the Metaverse.
Prior to Unity, he was the CIO at AppDynamics, which was acquired by Cisco in 2017.
In addition to his professional experience, Brian has substantial experience working in enterprise and global markets.
Brian began his career in IT at DHL, in the Czech Republic, supporting Global Sales and Marketing Applications before transitioning to Software as a Service implementations in the Salesforce space.
