Mr. Chris Northwood is a Managing Director at Activ8 Capital Advisors Pty Ltd. He has over 25 years experience across investment banking, capital raising, hedge funds management, entrepreneurial start-up ventures, operational business management, branding, consumer product development, sales management, marketing and global product distribution.
Prior to founding Activ8 Capital in 2017, Mr. Northwood held the position of Senior Industrial Equities Analyst for Canaccord Genuity and before that, Hedge Fund Investment Analyst for Merricks Capital.
He also has experience in institutional equity analysis, investment banking and investment management for Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and Brierley Investments.
He was the Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of a consumer products (apparel, accessories, sporting hard-goods) distribution, branding and marketing company based in San Diego, USA and distributing to 50+ countries.
Inventor of the worlds first 6/4 Titanium axle-less skateboard truck hanger.
He managed the growth of 5 brands (3 owned and 2 licensed) across mutliple distribution channels, dealing directly with over 4,500 retail stores in the USA including Zumiez, Pacsun, Ross, CCS/Footlocker and Journeys, and also Amazon direct.
He holds a Bachelor of Business (Valuation and Investment) from RMIT Melbourne.
