Mr. Christian Deseglise is Head of Wholesales at HSBC Global Asset Management (USA), Inc.
Mr. Deseglise joins HSBC in December 2010 from BTG Pactual where he was a partner in charge of business development for asset management.
Prior to that, Mr. Deseglise was Global Head of Emerging Markets Business at HSBC Global Asset Management, where he was instrumental in developing HSBC's capabilities in emerging markets.
Before 2004, Mr. Deseglise worked in capital markets, debt advisory and asset management for emerging markets, starting his HSBC career in Paris in 1990.
He is also an Adjunct Professor teaching "Investing in Emerging Markets" at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
