Co-founder and Vice President of Quality, Mr. Coomber is responsible for developing and implementing best-in-class quality assurance procedures.
A multi-disciplined executive, Mr. Coomber has more than 15 years of experience in system design, R&D management, operations and program management.
Prior to joining Tropic Networks, Mr. Coomber held the position of assistant Vice-President, xDSL Product Group at Newbridge.
There, he led the development and introduction of the 350 IVSN Access Platform, which was credited with the most rapid production ramp in the history of the company.
Mr. Coomber has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering with a Management Science option from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the University of Ottawa.
He is a licensed Professional Engineer and a recipient of the Ottawa “Top 40 under 40” award.
