Moore is a Founder of Corinthian Colleges, Inc. and was a Director from July 1995 to December 15, 2006.
He was Chairman of Corinthian Colleges from August 2001 to December 2006 and Chief Executive Officer from July 1995 to November 2004.
Mr. Moore served as President of Corinthian Colleges from July 1995 to October 2002.
Prior to joining Corinthian Colleges, he was President of a subsidiary of National Education Corporation.
Mr. Moore was President of DeVry Institute of Technology from 1992 to 1994.
He was employed at Mott Community College from 1980 to 1992, where he was President from 1984 to 1992.
Mr. Moore served as a Colonel for the U.S.
Army from 1960 to 1980.
He received a BA in Political Science from Seattle University and an MBA from the University of Puget Sound.
Mr. Moore has completed the Management of Higher Education Program at Harvard University, post graduate studies in Higher Education Management at the University of Michigan and graduate study and research in Computer Science at Kansas State University.
