Ms. DeShay G.
McCluskey, CFA MBA, is a Founder & Managing Partner at AltraVue Capital LLC.
She is responsible for portfolio management and the overall investment strategy of AltraVue.
She brings over 18 years of deep analytical and research experience to AltraVue.
Her experience includes both public and private investments and fixed income research.
Prior to founding AltraVue, Ms. McCluskey was a Portfolio Manager and Principal for GW Capital, Inc. As a Partner of the firm and a member of the investment committee, she spent almost four years managing both equity and fixed income portfolios.
Prior to GW Capital, she spent three years as Vice President, Director of Research at BDT Capital Partners where she helped launch and manage the firm’s public investment portfolio.
She also co-founded Jacobi Capital Management, where she was a Senior Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager.
Her early investment career include experience as an Equity Research Analyst at Legg Mason Capital Management and Ariel Investments.
She was also previously employed as an Equity Analyst by ClearBridge LLC and Miller Value Partners LLC.
She earned her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2006 and a BA in Economics with Honors, from the University of Chicago in 2001.
She is a CFA charterholder.
