Mr. Guilherme Gaertner is a Co-Manager of Macro Strategies at Canvas Capital SA. He began his career at Banco Itaú, followed by positions at HSCB Brasil and Banco Unibanco, where he was Head of Treasury (2001-2004), before becoming a partner and Head of FX at the proprietary desk of Itaú BBA (2005-2013).
He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from POLI-USP (1994) and an MBA from Insper (2004).
