Mr. Zanganeh joined Pardus Capital in April 2006.
Mr. Zanganeh has many years of experience in the financial services industry, where he has developed a deep knowledge of interest rate derivatives, bonds, and financial futures markets both in developed and emerging markets.
Prior to joining Pardus, Mr. Zanganeh was a Managing Director in the Equity and Fund Derivatives group at Calyon (formerly Credit Lyonnais), where he worked since 2003.
He was responsible for structuring Fund Derivatives products, and headed the Hedge Funds and Funds of Funds Origination team.
In that capacity, he performed due diligence, and participated in assessing credit, legal and market risk of structured transactions for a diverse group of hedge funds and funds of funds.
Previously, Mr. Zanganeh was a Director at Credit Suisse First Bostons Fixed Income Derivatives sales group, covering Relative Value, Macro and Emerging Market Hedge Funds.
From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Zanganeh was a Director at Bankers Trust, responsible for coverage of hedge funds and proprietary desks of major banks for fixed income derivative products.
From 1991 to 1996, Mr. Zanganeh worked at Lehman Brothers Fixed Income Derivatives group.
He was a member of the marketing and structuring teams, responsible for development of hedging strategies for U.S.
banks, saving and loans, and government agencies.
From 1985 to 1989, Mr. Zanganeh was a Comptroller at AIG Financial Products, and a member of the audit team at Deloitte and Touche.
Mr. Zanganeh earned his MBA from University of Chicago in 1991, with a concentration in Finance, and earned his BA in Accounting from American University in 1983.
