Mr. Hervé Catala is Chief Executive Officer at Crédit Agricole (Suisse) SA.
Before joining Crédit Agricole Suisse, he was Chief Executive Officer of Banque de Gestion Privée Indosuez.
He began his career at Banque Indosuez in Paris in 1980 where, after a year in the Legal Affairs and Equity Holdings department of Compagnie Financière de Suez, he joined the Central Risk Management division.
In 1982 he moved to the Large Corporates division as an account adviser.
This was followed by his appointment as Director of the Nancy branch (1987) and then Regional Director in Lille (1990), before moving on to Lyon as Regional Director for
Rhône-Alpes.
In 1994 he was promoted to Banque Indosuez’s head office in Paris to serve as Director of French Regions.
In 1999 he was named Director and Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Foncier de Monaco.
Mr. Catala holds a Master’s degree in public law from the University of Sophia Antipolis in Nice.
