Jacques Nieuwland has been an Executive Vice President of Human Resources for SUEZ Energy International and Senior Vice President of Information Technology, Communications and Legal Affairs since 2000.
He is a Director of SUEZ Energy North America, Inc. Mr. Nieuwland was a Legal Advisor and subsequently Under-Secretary in the General Secretariat of Intercom.
He joined Tractebel in 1989 and served as Joint Director of the Communication and Secretariat Department for the company.
In 1993, Mr. Nieuwland attended the General Management Programme CEDEP at the INSEAD, Fontainebleau.
He held various positions at the SUEZ-Tractebel Group.
Mr. Nieuwland received an undergraduate degree from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 1975.
