Dr. Kent Osband is a Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group (Hedge Funds).
He worked on Soviet and post-Soviet reform at the Rand Corporation, the IMF and the World Bank before defecting to Wall Street in 1994.
Dr. Osband served as Goldman Sachs' first economist for Eastern Europe, CSFB's chief strategist for emerging market debt, and global bond fund manager for Trilogy Advisors before joining Fortress Investment Group in 2002 and helping found the Drawbridge Global Macro Fund.
Mr. Osband holds a BA (magna cum laude) from Harvard and a PhD in Economics from Berkeley.
