Mr. Alexander L.
Thorndike is a President at Choate Investment Advisors LLC.
He is on the Board of Directors at Mass General Brigham, Inc. Mr. Thorndike oversees the investment strategy and day-to-day operations of Choate Investment Advisors.
Working closely with Choate’s wealth management team of trustees, lawyers, tax preparers, and trusts and estates administrators, he helps to ensure the coordinated delivery of best-in-class integrated family office services to wealthy families and individuals – to help them grow and protect their assets across multiple generations.
Previously, he spent over 18 years at Century Capital Management LLC where he served as Managing Partner and CEO, along with Chairman of the Century Funds.
Prior to joining Choate, he served as Managing Director of Congress Asset Management and a Portfolio Manager on the firm’s Small Cap Growth, SMid Growth, and Large Cap Growth Investment Committees.
He was also a member of the firm’s Management Committee.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and received an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
