Leah L.
Porter has been Vice President of Scientific Affairs for Chocolate Manufacturers Association since March 2004.
She is Vice President of Scientific Affairs for the American Cocoa Research Institute (ACRI).
Before joining to CMA, Dr. Porter was Executive Director of CropLife America.
Previously, Dr. Porter served as Scientific Manager at the International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI).
Dr. Porter was Manager of International Projects and Biotechnology for Glahé International.
She worked at Chemical Manufacturers Association (now American Chemistry Council).
Dr. Porter received an undergraduate degree in Botany from the University of Maryland and a PhD in Plant Pathology, Pesticide Chemistry, Plant Breeding and Agricultural Economics from Cornell University.
