Previously, he was software developer of Bell Northern Research from 1988 to 1991.
Dr. Amiot completed Orthopedic Surgery training in 2000 and pursued a Fellowship in Spine Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore from July 2000 to July 2001.
He received a degree in Electronic Engineering in 1988, Medical Doctorate in 1995 from the Université de Montréal in 1995 and a joint Master's diploma in Biomedical Sciences in 1997.
