Marco Yanar has of more than ten years of experience in the field of managing alternative investments.
After a banking apprenticeship and studies in business administration at Georg August University in Göttingen he started his career in 1994 within the asset management unit of Hannover Rückversicherung AG / Hannover Re.
As head of private equity he has been in charge of all private equity investments of Hannover Re Group.
Since 2002 he furthermore took accountability for all kind of alternative investment activities, such as Real Estate, Non-Investment-Grade Bonds and Hedge Funds at Ampega Asset Management, the Asset Management Unit of Talanx / Hannover Re.
At the beginning of 2007, he joined CAM management team as new Partner.
