María José Alonso is a Director of Advanced In Vitro Cell Technologies SL.
She is a Professor of Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
Dr. Alonso was a Visiting Professor at the University of Angers, France and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1992.
Previously, she was Governor for the Controlled Release Society and President of the Spanish-Portuguese Local Chapter of the CRS.
Earlier, Dr. Alonso was a Member of the Pharmaceutical Sciences of the FIP and the Scientific Advisory Board of the APGI.
She received a PhD in Pharmacy in 1985.
