Dr. Hyer is a Member of Editorial Advisory Board for the Journal of Composite Materials and Mechanics of Advanced Materials and Structures.
He received a BS degree in Aerospace Engineering from the State University of New York, Buffalo in 1964, an MS degree in Engineering Science from Purdue University in 1966, and a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1974.
