Mohammed Abu Alam Chowdhury is the founder of International Publications Ltd. (founded in 1993) and the founder of Bangladesh Craft & Giftware Association.
He is currently the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director at Conexpo Ltd. Additionally, he holds the position of Director at the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry since 2015.
Mr. Chowdhury is also a Member of the International Chamber of Commerce Bangladesh and the SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
In the past, he served as the Chairman of Chattagram Samity Dhaka and as an Independent Director at Power Grid Co. of Bangladesh Ltd. from 2013 to 2015.
He was also the Executive Vice President of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Vice President of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce & Industry in 2010.
Furthermore, he held the position of Executive Vice President at Junior Chamber International (JCI), Inc. and served as the President of Banglacraft.
Mr. Chowdhury completed his graduate degree at the University of Chittagong.
