Mr. Nick Burt is an Executive Director & Portfolio Manager at Vinva Investment Management Ltd. He heads up the portfolio management team responsible for managing the investment strategies including optimising for factors such as diversification, liquidity and transaction costs.
Prior to Vinva, he was the Senior Portfolio Manager at Barclays Global Investors (BGI) where he is responsible for managing long only and long-short portfolios.
In addition to managing portfolios, he was enhanced the trading and monitoring technology for BGI’s active equity products.
Prior to BGI, Nick spent ten years with J.P.
Morgan, in roles including Head of Quantitative Research and Head of Centralized Execution.
Mr. Burt holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance (Honours) from the University of NSW.
