Prior to joining Willis Stein & Partners in 2000, Mr. Mayfield was a Partner at Ernst & Young where he worked from 1987 in the merger and acquisition due diligence group.
He managed more than 300 due diligence engagements involving middle market transactions.
From 1977 to 1987, he held various positions with Ernst & Young's emerging businesses group and audit department.
Mr. Mayfield received an M.B.A from the University of Chicago and holds a B.A. degree from Cornell University.
He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
