He brings extensive experience and a strong track record as a Global Equity Portfolio Manager to GAM Investments.
Prior to joining the firm in February 2024, Mr. Markham was Head of Global Opportunities Equities at Newton Investment Management, where he played a significant role in the growth of its global equity franchise.
His career at Newton spanned 25 years where he managed a range of strategies, including Sustainable Global and European Equities, International Equities and Japanese Equities.
As Head of Global Equities, Mr. Markham was responsible for leading a team of portfolio managers overseeing assets for institutional, retail and private wealth clients.
