Peter Alexander Crossgrove served as Vice Chairman & CEO of Placer Dome, Inc. He was the Non-Executive Chairman of Masonite International Corp.
from 1989 to 2005 and the Executive Chairman of Excellon Resources, Inc. from 2005 to 2015.
He also served as Chairman of Cancer Care Ontario and The Canadian Association of Provincial Cancer Agencies.
Crossgrove was a Director of QLT, Inc., PDX Resources, Inc., Band-Ore Resources Ltd., and Nordex Explosives Ltd. He was an Independent Director of Lake Shore Gold Corp., Orbite Technologies, Inc., Detour Gold Corp., and Pelangio Exploration, Inc. Crossgrove was a Director of Barrick Gold Corp.
from 1993 to 2011 and West Timmins Mining, Inc. from 2006 to 2009.
He was a Trustee of DREAM Asset Management Corp.
and an Independent Trustee of Dream Industrial Real Estate Investment Trust.
Crossgrove was the Lead Independent Trustee of Dream Office Real Estate Investment Trust from 2012 to 2015.
He was also a Member of the Order of Canada and the Order of Ontario.
Crossgrove received his undergraduate degree from Concordia University and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario.
