Sloan has served as a Director of Angel Street Capital since its inception, developing relationships for opportunities to invest and source capital.
Mr. Sloan works with the firm’s founders to identify and develop portfolio companies.
A member of Media Services Group, Inc. since January 1993, Sloan has provided investment banking services to television and radio broadcasters nationwide, working with buyers and owners of stations to secure financing and sell radio and television stations throughout the U.S.
Sloan has also served the function of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of radio and television station groups.
In this CFO capacity he has assisted in the formatting and preparation of financial statements, budgets, and management reports as well as managing relationships with his clients’ creditors.
Sloan served Watermill Ventures and Watermill Advisors as an executive in residence examining companies with strategic or financial challenges.
Sloan has owned broadcast and communications towers in Arkansas and Oklahoma and served as the Chief Operating Officer of an aircraft leasing company.
Sloan graduated Cum Laude from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI.
He, his wife and three children reside in East Greenwich, RI and he serves as Senior Warden of Trinity Episcopal Church in nearby Pawtuxet, RI.
He is a licensed pilot and enjoys sailing, skiing and fishing.
