Prior to CPPIB, he focused on technology sector investments with Accel-KKR in Silicon Valley; originally a joint venture between the private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. and the venture capital firm Accel Partners.
He also gained capital markets and advisory experience as an Investment Banker with Goldman Sachs in New York and San Francisco.
He attained his H.B.A with Distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
He also completed securities licensing exams from the Canadian Securities Institute and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in the United States.
