Mr. Bong-Kyun Shin is a Principal at Darby Hana Infrastructure Fund Management Co., Ltd. Previously, he was a Senior Investment Officer at the Fund Management Center of the National Pension Services of Korea, where he was responsible for creating and managing the investment portfolio, consisting of domestic and overseas infrastructure projects.
Between 2001 and 2003, he was Executive Director at the Korea Infrastructure Fund Management Company ("KIFMC"), a joint venture management company, which managed the Korea Infrastructure Fund ("KIF").
In his position, he was responsible for investment activities in the infrastructure sector.
He was also VP and Head of Structured Products at ABN AMRO Bank Seoul (1999-2001), where his specialization was in-country and cross-border structured finance transactions in the areas of project finance, structured trade finance, acquisition finance, structured commodity finance and asset backed lending.
Previously, between 1997 and 1990, he was AVP and Senior Transactor at the Project Advisory Group of ABN AMRO bank Singapore.
He began his career in international sales and marketing at Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. He holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Columbia Business School in New York and a BA in Business Administration from Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, Korea.
