Brent Whisenant is a Managing Director with Medley Partners and focuses on fund commitments, secondaries and co-investments across leveraged buyout, growth and venture capital strategies.
Prior to joining Medley in 2008, Brent was a Managing Director with The Carlyle Group with Carlyle’s growth and venture fund based in San Francisco.
Previously, Brent was at Robertson Stephens where he worked as a Vice President within the merger & acquisitions group.
Before joining Robertson Stephens, Brent worked as an attorney for Cravath, Swaine & Moore, focusing on mergers, acquisitions, financings and securitizations.
Brent started his career as an auditor with Price Waterhouse in New York City.
Brent is a graduate of Brigham Young University and Columbia Law School.
