Mr. Bruce D.
Carpenter is a Co-Founder & Principal at Harbour Bridge Ventures, Inc. He is also a Co-Founder, Executive Vice President, and a Director at Ius Juris, LLC and a Managing Partner at Harbour Bridge Capital Partners, LLC.
He also serves on the Board of Directors and Advisory Boards of several privately held companies.
He has over thirty-five years of executive management experience in the consulting, venture capital and private equity, banking and technology industries.
Mr. Carpenter served as Executive Vice President for a regional U.S.
commercial bank before moving to the software industry to assume the Presidency of a financial software company in 1983.
In 1985, he helped found CBS Worldwide and was continuously involved in the successful growth and senior management of this group.
He continued to fill senior executive roles with Fiserv after its acquisition of CBS Worldwide until leaving Fiserv to found Harbour Bridge Ventures in 2003.
During his tenure with CBS Worldwide, he helped to grow CBS to over US$ 220 million in annual revenues while serving over 500 leading financial institutions in more than 55 countries from its global network of offices.
Fiserv, the corporate parent of CBS Worldwide (now known as Signature), is the leading global provider of technology and technology management services to the financial services industry including banking, brokerage, insurance, and benefits administration.
With over 5 billion US$ in annual revenues, Fiserv serves over 18,000 clients worldwide.
In addition to his responsibilities with Fiserv CBS Worldwide, Mr. Carpenter also served a key role in Fiserv’s merger and acquisition program and was responsible for developing and implementing formal processes for both Fiserv’s pre and post-acquisition M&A activities as well as leading and closing a number of Fiserv acquisitions.
He holds a Bachelors Degree (BA) from Lafayette College and Masters Degree (MBA) from Columbia University.
