Mr. Karns joined Delaware Investments in 2004.
Prior to joining Delaware Investments, Mr. Karns was a finance attorney with Bingham McCutchen, Hartford, Conn., representing institutional investors and lenders in private placements, syndicated bank
loans, and workouts.
Mr. Karns holds a bachelors degree from The George Washington University, a masters degree from the University of Delaware, and a law degree from the University of Connecticut, where he finished first in his graduating law class.
Mr. Karns is also a CFA Level II candidate, a member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, a member of the Institutional Limited Partners Association, and a Fellow of the American College of Investment Counsel.
