Mr. Frank J.
Pinon is a Managing Director & Head of Emerging Markets at Scotia Capital (USA), Inc. As Head of Emerging Markets- Western Hemisphere, Mr. Pinon is Scotia Capital’s most senior executive in the region.
He is responsible for Scotia Capital Mexico’s capital markets businesses in addition to leading the Emerging Markets Trading and Distribution team.
He was previously Managing Director and Head of Scotia Capital Mexico.
Mr. Pinon began his career with Scotiabank in 1981, holding various positions including Head of US Funding and Trading and Head of US Fixed Income.
He holds a MBA from Rutgers University Graduate School of Management, and an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Toronto.
