Dr. Heidi Schauman is a Chief Economist at Swedbank AB. Prior jo joining Swedbank, she was previously employed as a Chief Economist by Aktia Bank Plc and has since 2006 held several senior positions in the Finnish banking sector, including Senior Euro Analyst at Nordea Bank AB and Senior Economist at the Bank of Finland.
In Nordea she followed the euro-zone economy, monetary policy and interest rate markets.
In the Bank of Finland she worked at the department of monetary policy and research.
Dr. Schauman graduated from Hanken School of Economics in 2003 and in 2006 received a PhD of Economic Sciences from Hanken for her doctoral thesis on labor market matching.
