Jean Parker is a Director, Business Development at Argentum, focused on identifying and sourcing new investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Argentum, Jean was the Director of Business Development & Product Development at Preqin where she co-led the launch of the ESG & impact platform.
Previously, Jean was an Account Executive at Axial where she consulted with middle market PE firms, family offices, and corporate development teams on their business development and M&A efforts.
Earlier in her career, Jean was an Associate in Citigroup’s sales and trading division, specializing in both equity derivatives sales and rates derivatives sales & structuring.
Jean holds a B.S.
in Business Administration and graduated with University Honors from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
Jean is passionate about fitness, travel (30 countries visited), and interior design with her work being featured in publications such as Rue Magazine & Apartment Therapy.
Outside of the office, she can be found attending art fairs, augmenting her antique ceramic collection, and cooking a mean ribeye with her husband Jeff.
Earlier in life, Jean was a flutist, who won the concerto competition at the Manhattan School of Music and debuted at Carnegie Hall as part of a commissioned chamber music group.
