Prior to joining ComVest in June 2008, Mr. Smith worked as an investment banking analyst in the Global Industries Group at Bear Sterns where his responsibilities included performing due diligence and preparing company financial valuation models, road show presentations and offering memoranda.
His transactional experience includes private placements, IPOs, and M&A in the healthcare and transportation industries.
Prior to Bear Sterns, he served as an officer in the United States Air Force.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
