Luqman Arnold has worked in financial services since 1972.
In his previous positions he was Senior Adviser to Emilio Botin (Chairman of Grupo Santander), CEO of Abbey National, Chairman of the Group Executive Board and President of UBS AG, Head of Business Development and Member of the Executive Committee and Board of Banque Paribas, and Head of Investment Banking origination at CSFB.
He has served on a number of industry bodies including the FSA Practitioner Panel, the FSA Financial Capability Steering Group, the British Bankers’ Association Council, the Association of British Insurers’ Board and the European Securities Forum.
He holds a BSc honours degree in economics from London University.
