Patrick Donald Daniel is currently the Chairman of the Alberta Cancer Foundation, the Daniel Family Foundation, Inc., the American Petroleum Institute, Inc., and a Member of The National Petroleum Council and the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of AB. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer & Director of Enbridge, Inc. from 1982 to 2012.
He was also the Chairman of Enbridge Pipelines, Inc. and the American Air Liquide Holdings, Inc. from 2013 to 2018.
Additionally, he held various director positions in companies such as Enbridge Energy Partners LP, Ovintiv Canada ULC, Enerflex Systems Ltd., Enbridge Energy Management LLC, Synenco Energy, Inc., Capital Power Corp., Exolum Corp.
SA, Enbridge Energy Co., Inc., Enerflex Systems Income Fund, Capital Power LP, Cenovus Energy, Inc., and Enbridge Income Fund.
Mr. Daniel is an alumnus of the University of Alberta and the University of British Columbia, where he obtained undergraduate and graduate degrees respectively.
