Prior to joining RWJ Foundation in 2004, Ms. Einhorn held a range of senior roles in global finance, including work in business planning, investor relations, corporate treasury and financial operations.
Long active in civic affairs, she is the former chairwoman of the Board of The Brooklyn Childrens Museum, the worlds first museum for children and is currently a trustee and chair of its Strategic Planning Committee.
She also was a 1999 recipient of a David Rockefeller Fellowship from the New York City Partnership, allowing her to join with twelve other executives in examining key issues in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors of New York City.
Ms. Einhorn received an M.B.A. from Columbia Universitys Graduate School of Business and a B.A. degree from William Smith College.
She is the daughter of a physician.
She and her husband, who is an attorney, reside in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn and have two adult children.
She enjoys drawing, running and biking and with a three hour daily commute.
She is an avid listener of books-on-tape.
