Prior to forming the firm, he served as Vice President and Financial Analyst for Cardinal Investment Co., Inc., where he focused on value-based short selling strategies.
From 1979 until 1985, Mr. Summers served as President of Electrical Supply Company.
From 1966 until 1978, he held a variety of positions including President of Summers Electric Company.
Mr. Summers holds a BBA in Quantitative Analysis and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2001.
Mr. Summers is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR) and the Dallas Society of Financial Analysts.
