Vicki Bakhshi is an Associate Director in the Governance and Sustainable Investment (GSI) team at F&C Asset Management.
Vicki leads F&C’s engagement programme on climate change, and covers environmental, social and governance issues in the oil and gas and insurance sectors.
She is on the Steering Group of the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change, as well as the working group for the Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change.
Prior to joining F&C in 2006, Ms. Bakhshi spent five years as a policy adviser to the UK government.
She was the Prime Minister’s policy adviser on climate change at 10 Downing Street, after which she moved to HM Treasury to work as a senior advisor on the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change.
She was previously in the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit, working on reports on GM crops and voluntary sector reform.
Before that, she spent three years as a leader writer at the Financial Times, and two years as an economist at the Bank of England.
