Talafuse has been Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of W&T Offshore, Inc. since September 28, 2005.
He has served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of W&T Offshore since March 28, 2006.
Mr. Talafuse joined W&T Offshore in July 2004 as Vice President of Accounting and Chief Accounting Officer.
Prior to joining W&T Offshore, he held various positions for 16 years with TransTexas Gas Corporation and its affiliates, most recently as Controller of TransTexas Gas from October 1998 to July 2004.
He received a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in 1970 and an MBA from the University of Texas in 1979.
He is a Certified Public Accountant.
