He is also on the board of InVivo Biosystems, Inc. and Chief Innovation Officer for Ortho Clinical Diagnostics Holdings Plc.

In the past Dr. Palaniappan held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Epic Sciences, Inc. and Executive Vice President-Global Innovation at Terumo BCT, Inc.

Chockalingam Palaniappan received a doctorate from Northern Illinois University.
