Mr. Mello A. van Daalen, CFA MBA, is a President & Chief Investment Officer of Global Fixed Income at Wright Investors' Service, Inc. and a Member at The New York Society of Security Analysts, Inc. He has overall responsibility for fixed income portfolio management.
He also shares overall investment strategy and asset allocation responsibility with Mr. Khandwala.
He joined Wright in 2002 and also serves on the firm's Investment Team.
Before joining Wright, Mr. van Daalen was a Director at Credit Suisse Asset Management following their purchase of Warburg Pincus Asset Management, which he joined in 1992.
In addition to managing institutional assets, he was manager of several mutual funds, including the Warburg Pincus Fixed Income Fund.
Prior to 1992, he was Assistant Vice President and managed fixed income investments for high net worth individuals in Citibank’s International Private Bank.
Mr. van Daalen received a BA in Psychology from Wesleyan University and an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.
