Ms. Carla Aguirre joined BDC Venture Capital in 2013 as an analyst in the Healthcare Fund.
Prior to this, Ms. Aguirre worked as an associate in Investment Banking at BMO Capital Markets in Toronto as part of the Financial Institutions Group.
Ms. Aguirre has also worked as a business analyst for Micropharma, a Montréal-based company developing probiotics for human health, and Nano Québec.
Ms. Aguirre holds a B.Eng.
in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D.
in Engineering Physics from École Polytechnique, and a M.S.
in Applied Physics from Rice University.
She completed her MBA at McGill University.
