Prior to joining Quantum in 2007, Mr. Swift served as the Assistant Controller of Expenditures at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) where he worked 25 years in leadership and technical positions with progressively more responsibility in the accounting and planning areas.
Mr. Swift served as the Controller of Anadarko Canada Corporation for 2 years starting in 2000.
Mr. Swift’s responsibilities with Anadarko covered a broad array of areas in upstream and midstream oil & gas including operational accounting, reporting, planning, and economic analysis.
Mr. Swift holds a MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Houston and a BBA with a major in Accounting from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
He served on the board of directors of the Petroleum Accountants Society of Fort Worth and was elected Vice President and then President.
Additionally, Mr. Swift served as a member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producer’s Executive Fiscal Policy Group and also served as a member of the API Upstream Oil & Gas Accounting Subcommittee.
