Mr. David J.
Kadin is a Principal at Ares Management LLC.
He joined Ares in August 2011.
Mr. Kadin formerly worked at Wrightwood Capital where he was responsible for commercial loan origination in the Western United States.
Prior to his role at Wrightwood, he was a Senior Underwriter and Portfolio Manager at Merrill Lynch Capital, where he successfully underwrote and closed over $180 million of commercial real estate loans.
He was also Senior Manager with The Irvine Company, where he analyzed over $1.5 billion of commercial and residential acquisitions.
From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Kadin was with FINOVA Realty Capital where he effectively managed a team in closing of over $300 million in CMBS loans.
Mr. Kadin received his undergraduate degree in Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Urban Planning and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
