Mr. Douglas W.
Evans, CFA, is a Chief Investment Officer & Founding Partner at Callan Family Office LLC.
He draws upon more than three-decades of experience in providing discretionary investment portfolios across liquid and illiquid assets and serving as an outsourced CIO for ultra-high-net-worth families, foundations, and endowments.
In addition to his role as CIO, Mr. Evans serves on Callan Family Office’s Executive Management Team as well as leads the Investment Committee.
Additionally, he serves as a key liaison between the firm and the Callan Institute, which is widely recognized as one of the industry’s leading research and education forums.
Prior to Callan Family Office, Mr. Evans was the Executive Vice President and Head of Investments for Abbot Downing.
In this capacity, he also served on Wells Fargo’s Global Investment Strategies and Global Investment Risk committees.
Mr. Evans graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara, with a master’s degree in business and economics, with an emphasis in econometrics, and a bachelor’s degree in economics.
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Investment Management Analyst professional, he is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of San Francisco, and the Investments and Wealth Institute.
He serves on the advisory board for Grace Christian Academy and the Green Music Center.
