Rawlins is a Chief Executive Officer & Portfolio Manager at Reitway Global (Pty) Ltd.
He qualified as a CA (SA) at Deloitte’s in 1984, before leaving the profession to embark on a career in the Information Technology industry.
This was followed by a move in 1998 into the investment and property arena.
He gained exposure to investment finance and asset management whilst being the CEO of a mid-sized investment company.
However, commercial property which started out as an attraction became a passion.
He left investment management in 2003 to focus on his own commercial property portfolio, but the ultimate goal was to develop a global listed property investment methodology.
