Mr. Jacob Mitchell is a Chief Investment Officer at Antipodes Partners Ltd., at Antipodes Global Investment Co. Ltd. and at Antipodes Global Shares (Quoted Managed Fund).
He is a Chief Investment Officer of the Global Equities team with responsibility for the team-wide investment philosophy and process.
He founded the firm in 2015.
Prior to Antipodes, Mr. Mitchell spent 14 years at Platinum Asset Management where he was the Deputy Chief Investment Officer jointly responsible for the firm-wide investment process, and a Portfolio Manager of the flagship Platinum International Fund.
During his time, he also served as Portfolio Manager for the Platinum Unhedged Fund and the Platinum Japan Fund.
Before joining Platinum, he was Head of Technology and Emerging Industrials Research at UBS Warburg Australia.
He commenced his investment career in 1994 at high conviction, value oriented Australian equities manager, Tyndall Australia.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Sydney.
