Mr. Ioffredo came to Arnhold and S.
Bleichroeder Advisers, LLC in May 1990 to manage the Asian Proprietary Trading Desk.
In 1994, he joined the Asset Management Group, taking primary responsibility for the Asian/Japanese allocations in the international equity portfolios.
Previously, he was a vice president and proprietary trader at Citicorp, concentrating on the Asian/Japanese equity and equity-linked markets.
Before that, he was a vice president at Paine Webber, where he started an index arbitrage trading system in the Hong Kong market.
Mr. Ioffredo lived in Japan for four years.
He holds a BS degree in accounting from Rutgers University and an MBA in finance and strategic planning from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
