Mr. Farhi is a Portfolio Manager primarily dedicated to MKP Opportunity.
Prior to joining MKP Capital Management, LLC in March 2004, Mr. Farhi was a portfolio manager in the macro strategies group at Balyasny Capital Management from 2002 thru 2003.
In this role, he was responsible for proprietary trading within the global fixed income and currency markets.
From 1996 thru 2001 Mr. Farhi was a Director at Deutsche Bank holding various roles.
Between 1998 and 2001 his responsibilities included managing a team that capitalized on opportunities in the global fixed income and currency markets within the Absolute Return Hedge Fund Group.
During the prior two years he was a Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager.
From 1988 to 1996 Mr. Farhi was a Vice President and senior portfolio manager of institutional fixed income portfolios in Citibank’s Global Asset Management Group.
Between 1984 and 1988, Mr. Farhi was a fixed income Portfolio Manager at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
Mr. Farhi holds an MBA from Pace University (1984).
He earned a B.S.
in Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo (1982).
