Mr. Simon Garneau is a Senior Portfolio Manager & Team Leader at Desjardins Global Asset Management, Inc. He is responsible for overseeing all active management strategies for the fixed income team.
He ensures that the risk for each mandate is appropriate based on the team's strategies and each client's objectives.
He works closely with his credit analysis colleagues to build and manage portfolios that offer real value-added potential in the long term.
Mr. Garneau joined Desjardins Global Asset Management in 2003.
He began his career in the investment industry in 1996 and has held a variety of roles, including Manager, Investments at Desjardins Capital de Risque.
Previously he held positions at J.P.
Morgan, and as an economist within the Desjardins Group.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and a Master of Science (Economics) from Université Laval.
