Mr. Anthony A. Rettino is a Founding Principal & Senior Portfolio Manager at Elementum Advisors LLC.
He also serves as Director & Chief Executive Officer of Elementum (Bermuda) Ltd. He has managed a variety of reinsurance and risk-linked investment strategies since 1997.
Prior to Elementum, Mr. Rettino co-managed the reinsurance and risk-linked investments team at Stark Investments from September 2005 through November 2009.
He held varoius positions such as Managing Director of Cochran, Caronia Securities LLC jointly responsible for the firm’s asset management activities from January 2002 – August 2005 and Managing Director and Head of Aon Capital Markets’ US-based operations from January 1997 – December 2001.
He also founded and led Aon’s Financial Risk Management group; the group’s responsibilities included RLI, asset/liability management, and hedging of investment portfolios from June 1993 – December 1996.
He earned a BBA in Accountancy with high honors from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA in Finance and Statistics with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
